I'm sitting here reading "He Loves Me" and suddenly a light bulb comes on. I've recently starting living in His love. I've even made up a little tune:
He Loves Me
I don't know why
but He Loves Me
singing it over and over to remind myself that He loves me.
So I'm thinking to myself: He knows all my idiosyncrasies, He knows all my faults and failures, everything about me that makes me unlovable, what redeeming quality do I have that would possibly cause Him to love me? And it all suddenly falls into place. It's so simple, yet so profound. I DON'T have any 'redeeming' qualities - what I have is redeeming FAITH!
Okay, so there is a little problem with this theory...He loves us ALL - even the ones without redeeming faith.
